Optimizing Next.js Turbopack Builds for Micro-Frontends
Tuning compiler configurations, code-splitting strategies, and cache keys to reduce build times in enterprise monorepos.
Next.js's native compiler and Turbopack speed up local dev loops significantly. However, production assets must be optimized carefully to prevent duplicate chunk loading.
By analyzing webpack-bundle-analyzer graphs and setting up custom shared dependency mappings, we cut cumulative build times from 4 minutes to 45 seconds.
